WHAT IS A DERMAROLLER?
Derma Roller (Collagen Induction System) is a procedure which stimulate the skin to produce new collagen formation, thereby reducing wrinkles, and improving skin tecture. A roller with very fine bristles is used to produce many microscopic channel in the skin, which stimulte your own body to produce new collagens. These channel also improve the penetration of therapeutiic active ingredients.
Q.Advantages of Derma Roller (DMR):
*Removes scars, Increase Collagen production, Tighten skin, Low risks, Short downtime, Good result, Reasonable Price, No permanent trauma, Local anaesthetic only
Note: Use Dermaroller for best absorption of other products like hyaluronic acid gel, placenta, Derma lift, collagen.
Procedure on how to use dermaroller is available upon purchase.
Q. What is mesotherapy and derma roller?
A: Mesotherapy is from the term Greek “mesos” and therapeia to describe
methodology that applies non-surgical medicinal treatment techniques to
the middle layer of the skin. Mesotherapy describes a range of
techniques that may be applied to wide range of maladies, but in the
case of DMR , the method is “cosmetic”. The mesotherapy effect of DMR
stimulates the skin to produce collagen without removing the top layer
of skin. DMR does not inject serums or solutions; it only permits
deeper infusion of topical applications (e.g. anti-aging serums)
thereby increasing effectiveness.
Q. Are there clinical studies to back up the claims of DMR?
A. Yes, comparson clinical studies conducted by leading dermatological
universities in South Korea have also shown that DMR are more effective
in increasing the thickness of the skin than IPL and just as effective
as ablatve treatment (chemical peel, dermabrasion, laser resurfacing)
and non-ablative machine based treatments like C02 laser, Fraxel and
Thermage. Additional Studies on the mesotherapy concept hav been
conducted by other leading Universities in Germany, South Africa,
Australia and by practitioners in the United States. Moreover, clinical
acceptance of this method is growing rapidly in the U.S.; the American
Society for Aestheic Plastic Surgery reports that mesotherapy grew 505%
from 2005 to 2006 whle other treatment methods have either subsided
(e.g., Botox Injection, -3%, dermabrasion, -28%) or flattened (chemical
peel,0%).
Q. Does DMR smooth acne marks?
A. By inducing production of collagen and elastin DMR does something
that no other treatment method-without removing the top layer of the
skin. Within the first treatment of a DMR5 (0.55mm), patients notice
diminished superficial acne marks. After the third treatment, deeper
acne marks begin to fill in. By the 5th to 6th treatment, patients
experience results similar to deep chemical peel or laser resurfacing.
Q. Can DMR help men?
A. Absolutely yes. In fact, many find DMR treatment less intimidating
than the preparations required for other methods because it is bit like
getting a shave at a barber.
Q. Can DMR to make skin age?
A. No.
Q. Is DMR effective on the Eye Lids?
A. No.
Q. Who can buy DMR?
A. Licensed dermatologists, skin surgeons (plastic, reconstructive),
medical assistants, nurse and certified therapist may purchase the full
ange of DMR models (DMR2, DMR3, DMR5, DMR10, DMR20 and DMR30). Derma
Roller models up to DMR5(0.5mm) can also be used by trained
estheticians and other cosmological specialists with minimal
theoretical and practical training. See”Training required for DMR
roller treatment?”.
Q. Can you use Microdermabrasion with DMR?
A. Yes, In fact, DMR is compatible with most other non-ablative
treatment modalities. For instance, some patients may notice scaling on
the skin as a result to the DMR action. Top start, you may use no more
than a mild ablative wash to smooth out the scaling. After about the
first 6 months when DMR treatment are given ample time to thicken the
skin then you may undergo microdermabrasion treatment to help
exfoliate. Microdermabrasion will further stimulate collagen production
and eve out skin texture and tone.
Q. Can DMR make hyperpigmentation less noticeable?A. yes, Derma roller
personal and clinical models can help to inhibit hyperpigmentation.
This is where collagen induction easily aid the skin without abrading
the epidermis. Several treatments from a specialist are required to
even out skintone get rid of hyperpigmentation.Q. Can Derma roller make
large pores shrink?
A. Yes, by way of including the skin to produce collagen which thickens
the skin and tightens the surface. Collagen production is stimulated
through the action of DMR. Additional benefits by the loosening clogged
pores thereby allowing them to return to their natural shape and size.
Q. Do you see a difference after one derma roller treatment?
A. Yes, even the first treatment with a personal roller will show some
enhancements. Real differences are achieved with monthly clinical
treatments. After the third treatments in conjuction with weekly
personal roller application a patient will notice significant changes.
The full effect is achieved after five months.
Guarantee: 100% contaminant-free DMR Roller are sterilized with gamma
radiation and sealed in a hermetic pouch and are guaranteed to be 100%
contaminate-free upon delivery.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
For Skincare Doctors and Licensed Dermatologist Only.
The common goal of most skin treatment modalities is the reduction of wrinkles and scars and depressions of the skin. DermaRoller
is a low-cost/high results skin treatment alternative for ablatives
like laser resurfacing, derma/microbrasion, and chemical peeling.
Derma Roller uses 200 very fine
needles to pierce the epidermis thereby stimulating collagen formation.
The resulting ‘micro-channel effect' also helps to infuse vitamin
creams, serums, and other topical applications thereby increasing their
effectiveness.
Dermabrasion, acid-peeling or laser re-surfacing have one and the same target: to remove the protective epidermis, and set a 2nd degree burn to force the dermis to produce a new tissue layer. Once that protection layer against environmental influences such as dirt, bacteria, etc. is removed, certain health risks must be accepted: long prevailing inflammation and redness, long healing period (like on all burns), extreme light-sensitivity over month, possible irreversible pigment changes and scars. Due to different skin structure on neck and ear a laser re-surfacing is not possible. And the most negative point is: The skin becomes thinner, and in most cases the procedure can't be repeated a second time.
Medical Microneedling can be an alternative to laser resurfacing in patients not suitable for laser treatment or wishing to have a less invasive procedure with fewer risks. Conventional treatments frequently involve expensive, highly invasive procedures, chemical peels or laser re-surfacing. These procedures have at times offered inconsistent or disappointing results. Medical Microneedling is a safer alternative and can reduce and improve the following conditions:
-
generalized or localized depressed acne scarring such as found frequently with a history of acne;
-
sun-damaged skin, used to improve texture, reduce and even out skin discolouration and soften wrinkles and lines.
So, what is the advantages of medical dermroller?
-
The treatment is not painful.
-
There is a very short healing period - you may be back in public in 5 days.
-
The treatment is cost effective.
-
It can be used on thin skin.
-
There is no permanent damage to the skin.
-
It can safely be repeated for better results.
-
It can be used on laser resurfaced skin.
-
The DermRoller may be stored for you and then be re-used on you at any stage.
-
The first advantage is that this procedure does not permanently damage the skin. The skin actually becomes thicker.
-
The healing phase is short and within five days the patients can go out into public.
-
It is not painful in surgery due to the anaesthesia; there is also no post operative pain.
-
It is not as expensive as laser resurfacing.
-
Sun-sensitivity is a major and enduring problem in laser resurfacing, whereas after needling of the skin, the horny layer rapidly returns to its original thickness and the skin is not sun sensitive.
-
A very gratifying change occurs in dilated blood vessels, which may disappear.
The other advantage is that this does not really have to be done by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist. The technique is easy to master because it does not require the artistic skills that are imperative in a tattoo artist.
-
If the result after the percutaneous collagen induction is not satisfactory to the patient, it can be repeated without any risk.
